Dave Nielsen is the co-founder and creator of CloudCamp, an organization of unconference events around the world. With 35 events in the first 12 months, CloudCamp has become a phenomenon in the Cloud Computing industry. 

Dave is also the Principal Consultant at Platform D, a strategic consulting company Dave started to help Cloud Services companies market their services to the technology community.

Prior to Platform D, Dave helped launch PayPal’s first Web Services platform and ran the PayPal Developer Program which operated closely with the eBay Developer Program after PayPal was acquired. Following PayPal, Dave ran Partner Programs for Strikeiron, an innovative Data-as-a-Service platform for the monetization of commercial data.

Dave lives in Mountain View, CA with his wife Erika whom he proposed to in his book PayPal Hacks.
